This free program is for ages 7-12 and registration is required. Please pre-register in the branch or by calling as space is limited.

Please note: That while children will not be asked to eat any food, smarties and dried pasta will be used during this program for activities.

Build-a-Fort

Help us build an epic cardboard fort! You can bring your cardboard boxes or use ours to help us build the greatest cardboard you can imagine.

This free program is for all ages, however children under the age of 10 should be accompanied by an adult.

Red Cross - Babysitting

Come to the library and let the Canadian Red Cross prepare you for your first babysitting job! Learn important childcare skills and what to do in case of an emergency. 

This program is for ages 11-15 and registration is required. Please pre-register in the branch or by calling as space is limited. The cost is $60 per participant.

PA Day- Taylor Swift Friendship Bracelets

Join us in celebrating Taylor Swift's Eras Tour coming to Canada! We'll listen to her music together while making friendship bracelets inspired by her hit song "You're on Your Own Kid".

Bollywood Dance Workshop

/*-->*/ /*-->*/ Come try a new, fun and energetic dance style as we celebrate Diwali: The Festival of Lights together. Bollywood dancing is a colourful, highly theatrical dance style seen in Indian films. It combines classical forms of dance including traditional Indian, folk, salsa, and belly dance while also incorporating more contemporary Western forms such as hip-hop, jazz and funk.

Halloween Costume Exchange

Save resources, packaging, transportation costs and money this year by swapping a costume instead of buying a new one! You can drop off your old costumes Tuesday, October 8th through Wednesday, October 16th at the library during open hours in exchange for a token that will let you get something new to you on our swap day!
