Grab your sword or wand, and join us for Dungeons and Dragons adventures! Thursday afternoons after school we are running an ongoing adventure for one of the most popular Role Playing Games in the world. Some experience is preferred, but not necessary.

Learn to build and program robots in the Make-It Lab after school! We'll explore a variety of robots including learning to make a custom robot using our LEGO Mindstorm kits.

Come to the library and let the Canadian Red Cross prepare you for your first babysitting job! Learn important childcare skills and what to do in case of an emergency.

This program is for ages 11-15 and registration is required for this program pre-register in the branch or by calling. The cost is $50 per participant.

Participants should bring a lunch, water and a doll or stuffed animal they can practice their skills with.

Bring your dice and join us for a 3-hour session of Dungeons and Dragons on March Break! This is a one-shot adventure for new characters. Bring a level 5 character (no Homebrew please) to join our adventure, or visit the Make-It Lab sometime during our regular drop-in hours for help making a character for this session.

Some experience with 5th edition Dungeons and Dragons is preferred. Basic starting equipment only, a small number of magical items will be available at the beginning of the program.

Come and make your very own magic wand! Thanks to our 3D printer and some other nifty bits, make your own wand with the magic of technology.

Come make a custom leather friendship bracelet in the Make-it Lab! Learn how to use our Cricut machine to cut and engrave your own creative leather bracelet to give to a friend or keep it for yourself!

Take painting to new heights with puffy paint! Using simple household items we will make textured paint and create 3D art that really jumps off the canvas!
