It’s Halloween! Oh no, do you still need a costume? Come and make one! We have all kinds of ideas, tips, and materials to make a quick, easy last-minute costume for Halloween. If you can, bring an old t-shirt for some of our ideas - black or white works best.
 

This is a free drop-in program for all ages. 

Lunchtime Cricut Stickers!

Celebrate Canadian Library Month with KTPL and visit the Lab during lunch and use our Cricut machine to design and create your own custom stickers! You choose the images, we’ll prep them together with Cricut Design Software, then print, cut, and voilà—your stickers are ready to take and stick wherever you like!

 

This is a free drop-in program for ages 15+. 

Cookie Cutters - 3D Printing for Seniors

Celebrate Canadian Library Month with KTPL and learn how to make your own custom cookie cutters for Thanksgiving or Halloween with our 3D printers. We will show you how to find and create custom cookie cutters on the library 3D printers, just in time for the holidays. No experience necessary.

 

This program is for adults, with a $5 registration fee. Please pre-register by calling or visiting your local branch

Lunchtime Beat Saber VR

Do you like music? Do you like smashing things? DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BE THE BEAT SABER CHAMPION? Bring your friends to the Make-It-Lab at lunchtime and smash some virtual blocks to the beat of the music in the VR game Beat Saber!

 

This is a free drop-in program for ages 13+. No experience necessary. 

Lunchtime Knit Away

Come to the Make-It Lab during your lunch and use our Automatic Knitting Machines! Hats, scarves, whatever you like. It’s easy, it’s fast, and you will be amazed at how easy it is to use these devices to weave your own yarn creations.
