Discover the Magic of Science at the KTPL Make-It Lab! Come to our Build-A-Wand workshop and use parts made with our 3D printers to create a magic wand and try out some games with the power of magnets. No experience necessary.

Come to the Make-It Lab and make a little animal friend you can wear or stick around wherever you like through the Magic of Science and magnets! No experience necessary. 

This program is for ages 7+, registration is required with a $2.00 registration fee. Limited space is available, so please register in the branch or by calling.

Come to the Make-It Lab and, through the Magic of Science, you can use our Micro:Bit mini-computers to learn about machine-learning programming and create magical spell effects from waving a wand! No experience necessary.

This program is for ages 10+, and registration is required. Limited space is available, so please register in the branch or by calling.

Come to the Make-It Lab and through the Magic of Science, we will use our 3D scanner to create a digital sculpture of your head, which we will print on our 3D printers to be picked up in the following days. No experience necessary.

Please note: anyone being scanned must be able to sit still for 5 minutes to allow an accurate scan.

Calling all budding witches and wizards! You are invited to attend this potions class where we will use the Magic of Science and special ingredients to concoct your very own potions that, through the power of translucence and buoyancy, you can ask questions to!
